alternator

Hello, I wonder if anyone knows how to switch from dynamo to alternator. I know you can buy a lookalike dynamo which is actually a alternator, but they are rather pricy. It's for a TD series 2, but I imagine they are all the same, many thanks Posted by john douglas 09/07/2013 18:23:58

I too have looked at the dynamo lookalikes, incredibly expensive, especially when you can get a normal alternator from a scrap yard for so little.  Hope this helps, Paul.
