I have a 3 litre rolling chassis near completion and am piecing together the fuel system and the tank in particular. However, I find that there is no fuel pipe included in the project!
This does not appear to be a part available as a spare part (goes with the car!), nor something RT sell. Google led me to a garage that makes them at a cost of over £600......for 2x pipes, a solenoid and a small casting!
In this day and age, with a road house and fuel every 25 miles, do we need a fuel reserve in these cars? (TD21). I am tempted to make up a (single tube) draw pipe for say, £50, and keep my money for chroming or painting. Any input would be welcome. Would there be any impact other than the R switch being inoperable?
