The First Speed Twenty - Nick Simpson
The SA was the first of the ‘New Generation’ Alvis cars developed in 1931. The ‘Speed Twenty’ was the crossover model incorporating parts from earlier cars with the first flowering of the elegant and well-proportioned coachwork style that was steadily developed on most of the Alvis car range in the decade leading up to WWII.
