Whilst removing my brake shoes this morning I was reminded of a small tip that I meant to pass on a while ago. As we all know, kneeling down on a concrete floor is pretty much a necessity for all of us who do our own maintenance. At times I'm sure that we've all knelt on a stone and muttered something similar to 'blow!' under our breath. In a, probably vain attempt to help avoid a blue haze in the air my wife suggested that I purchased some of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/66FIT-Interlock ... 353&sr=8-8 ...and I can honestly say that they have been a marvellous addition to the workshop. Its still shorts weather here, circa 30°C so knee pads are not a viable option. I bought two packs and am never without a comfortable working area. They are more robust than I expected and I rarely move them out of the way when driving in and out (wouldn't turn on them though). Thoroughly recommended. Tony Posted by TonyO 05/09/2012 14:56:20
