Side screens

I am restoring a 1932 Firefly tourer and am thinking of the side screens.   I have the four frames but no further information.  In particular: What materials are recommended for the fabric and clear parts? Do the two parts of the lower frame go either side of the material? How is the material attached to the frame and to the clear part? Any experiences, advice, photos, etc. much appreciated.
