Petr, The engine no. 11731 was originally fitted in Speed 20SB Chassis No 11278, with Charlesworth saloon body No 13273, which was delivered to Hallams of Birmingham on 24/3/34.  I do not recognise the gearbox or C&E body numbers you quote. Gearboxes originally fitted to 20SBs were in the range 10852 to 11855, while C&E bodies fitted were in the range 30266 t0 30304.  The chassis no on the Speed 20SB should be stamped into the right side of the cast aluminium bulkhead (if still fitted) close to the steering column aperture. The Club has had no news of Ch. No 11278 since it was delivered in 1934.  Peter Sedgwick,  Speed 20SB model Secretary Posted by PeterSedgwick 30/04/2014 15:19:51
