Celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee outside my house.
We call the car “Maudie” in recognition to my late mother in law who paid for the engine rebuild.
Alvis TA21 DHC chassis No.24912 first registered in April 1953. Car was completed in October 1952 and was used by Tickford, the body constructor, as their Show Car. The car’s first appearance was on the Tickford stand in October 1952 at the Earls Court Motor Show. The car is displayed in its original colour scheme.
