Tostock is one mile North of the A14 at Junction 47, midway between Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket. The roast lunch (with vegetarian option) will be £25 per person for main course and dessert. | Sat 14th | South West: Valentines Winter Lunch All AOC members are warmly invited to join us for our Valentines Winter Lunch at The Carpenters Arms at Stanton Wick, North Somerset BS39 4BX. We are returning by popular request to this lovely country pub located in the beautiful Chew Valley. We have been allocated our own area in The Log Room where we can enjoy excellent food including a number of vegetarian options. | Sat 21st | Wales: Spring Lunch The Welsh Section welcomes all AOC Members to their Spring luncheon gathering, to meet at 12 noon onwards for a return visit to Tintern, near Chepstow. We are returning to last year’s successful venue, the Anchor Inn, Chapel Hill, Tintern, Chepstow, Monmouthshire, NP16 6TE. This Inn is beside the A466, 5 miles to the north of Chepstow, alongside the River Wye. We have provisionally reserved spaces in their Garden Room with a beautiful outlook over Tintern Abbey for Alvis friends. The Anchor Inn Car Park is on your left as you approach the Pub. We are being allocated a designated Alvis area. Tintern Abbey is an historic site with a modern and fascinating Visitor Centre. We need to advise the Anchor Inn, so please inform us as soon as possible if you would like to join us. Please note that there is a limited number of rooms at this small hotel. Room costs at the Angel are between £100 and £130 b&b depending on the room, evening meals are extra. Join us for the break or come for a day. The draft programme: Wednesday 13th May Meet for 11.00 “brunch” at Farm Cafe, Main Rd, Marlesford, Woodbridge, IP13 0AG, then tour of Sizewell Power Station at 1.00 pm, the tour is limited to 12 people, involves walking 1.7 miles and lasts up to 4 hours. You must inform Peter Barratt (eastangliaalvis@gmail.com) that you intend coming by 8th March 2026 to enable Sizewell security checks to be completed, providing your full name, date of birth, nationality and registered address. On the day you need to bring photo id such as driving license or passport. Thursday 14th May visit to a stately home more details of this item to follow. Friday 15th May walk along Dunwich Cliffs and then fish and chips at the famous beach café. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to perhaps hear bitterns booming one morning. |

| Sat 16th-Sun 17th | South West: South West Alvis Day SWAD will be at Buckfastleigh in Devon just west of Exeter. The gathering itself will be adjacent to the Buckfastleigh South Devon steam railway station on the Sunday. There will be a drive out over Dartmoor on the Saturday. The chosen hotel is the Northgate House Hotel adjacent to and owned by Buckfast Abbey. More details and a form will be provided in due course but in the meantime anyone wishing to book in at this early stage should mention the Alvis car club weekend to obtain a 10% discount on normal prices. |

| Mon 22nd—Fri 26th | All Sections: IAW Follow-on Tour Drive down through Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds to our base to the north of Cirencester, in the central Cotswolds, where you can spend three or four nights. This will give you plenty of time to explore many of the delights of the area, from pretty villages and delightful countryside, to Roman remains and splendid country houses.
