With over 60 years of supporting Alvis Owners, the club is the natural home for owners of Alvis cars, those interested in ownership or for those who simply enjoy the Marque and the benefits the club has to offer. The club is an open and friendly place for people of all ages, with a lively social scene complementing the pleasure of Alvis Ownership and the great pleasure to be had in driving one on the open road.
The club offers access to a network of over 1200 passionate Alvis owners round the globe who have unchallenged collective knowledge of the various models produced by Alvis between 1920 and 1967. Providing not just knowledge of the ownership and driving experience, but helping members locate hard to find spare parts and guidance on how to maintain the cars in top condition.
In the UK alone the club runs through its regional sections over 60 organised events per annum, ranging from drive outs, club stands at major car shows through to multi day touring events. In addition, the club hosts an annual 2 day gathering, typically bringing together over 100 cars from round the world. The club also sponsors and hosts some 30 Noggin and Natters social events round the country. These range from meetings in Mayfair to meetings in the North of Scotland.
The club publishes an Internationally regarded journal, the bi monthly Bulletin which has 96 pages of what is going on in the Alvis world, articles on the history of Alvis and happenings within the club.
Other benefits include access to an online Facebook community and an online members only section of this website containing an owner’s forum. The club runs a competitively priced members Insurance scheme, that also provides access to Insurance for the younger motorists, European breakdown, complimentary salvage and spare parts cover.
Finally, the pleasure in Alvis ownership is often heightened by knowing your car's history. Recognising this, the club has a network of Model Registrars who have built and who continue to build a knowledge base on the various models that Alvis built. This information has provided a range of benefits for members including recovering the car's original index plates.
