The new Membership system on the website goes live on the 6th Feb 2014.
Amongst other things, this will allow us to deliver a more secure Internet service for our members, whilst reducing the workload for a number of officers across the club. It will also provide the AOC with a more cost effective means of communicating with you.
Once live, access to the Members area of the website will be via your own unique username and password. The username will be the email you have given us and on first login, you can retrieve your password, by clicking on the “Forgot your password” link on the logon screen. This will email you a temporary password and you will then set your own password when you login. If you have not given us an email address, then please contact the Membership Secretary to get this done for you. The current system of accessing the Member only area, will be retired once we have turned the new Membership system live. There will be a comprehensive set of Instructions accessible at the point of logon to help you.
To support this, the Membership Secretary is engaged in a process of checking the email addresses we hold for you. Those of you who have received and responded to a recent email checking your email address from the Membership Secretary need take no further action. If you have not received an email, please contact the Membership Secretary, by phone or email.
Finally, if you are not an Internet user or do not wish to use the Membership area of the club’s website, then you need take no further action.
