"Members will be sorry to hear that Dave Adams passed away at home on the 4th February 2016 after loosing his battle with cancer.
His TA 21 and TF21 were his pride and joy and could be seen winning prizes at many events.
Dave lived in Eaglescliffe and with his workshop nearby he restored a number of Alvis cars for other people, one of them being GVC 816D. This TF 21 I purchased for spares but Dave soon had it in his workshop where he worked his magic. Almost 20 years on, this car was on the Alvis stand at last Novembers Classic Car Show at the NEC, a testimony to the quality of his work.
Dave was a man of many talents, when he and Freda moved south to Lincolnshire he designed and oversaw the building of their new home and took great pleasure in doing the joinery.
Our thoughts go out to Freda his Wife their two children Richard and Sammy and all the family."
The funeral arrangments are Tuesday 16 February at 2.30 at the house for 3.20 at the Church.
