South East Section Coronation Lunch - 14th May 2023

The South East section decided to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III after the regular Denbies Wine Estate meeting on 14th May.  And an excellent turnout there was as well.

A chilly Sunday morning saw us start out in our TD21 from Haywards Heath to Denbies near Dorking in Surrey. A lovely wine estate which has a terroir very similar to the champagne region in France and even the sun appeared, to warm us all up.  We have a monthly meet at Denbies on a Sunday and have a good turn out of pre and post war cars and AOC Members.   This Sunday was no exception, inspite of the BMW car club taking over a nearby field and causing chaos at the coffee counter!!

Just before 12 we set of for lunch at the Cock Inn at Headley. A 15 minute or so drive away. After toasting the King,

we sat down to lunch and flowing conversations, as everybody caught up.  A very enjoyable day was had by all.
