AOC Netherlands

Anthony McGarel-Groves represented the AOC Board at the invitation of the Alvis Owner Club Netherlands to the opening of the Alvis centenary exhibition at the Louwman National Automobile Museum in Den Haag.

Ronald Kooyman (Museum Director) accompanied by Evert Louwman (Museum Founder) welcomed all Alvis owners, enthusiasts and AOCN/AOC members; Anton Browers (AOCN Chairman) and Andre Hillebrand (AOCN Secretary) responded on behalf of the AOCN.

NB Anthony McGarel-Groves was relieved not to be asked to respond as his Dutch was inadequate for the occasion. The exhibition (photographs attached) was displayed in the grand foyer of this spectacular modern museum. A timeline of 17 stunning examples of Alvises, throughout the years that they were manufactured, were displayed around the hall.

AOC members really should consider making a visit to this world class museum especially whilst this exhibition is on display.
