The 17th Annual General Meeting of the Alvis Owner Club
Limited was held on 8 October 2017 at the Glebe Hotel, Church Street, Barford, nr.
Warwick, CV35 8BS, at 11.00am followed by Lunch.
” At the October AGM, David Salter was elected Chairman having been previously co-opted following the resignation of Brian Maile due to health reasons. Mick Fletcher and Anthony McGarel-Groves were respectively re-elected as Vice-Chairman and Treasurer. Gary Pellow was elected as Secretary following the retirement of Paul Chasney to whom thanks (as well as the award of the Dunham Cup) were expressed. Tim Brown succeeds David Salter as Northern Section Director and Section Chairman. Ann Bradnum succeeds John Hey as Welsh Section Director. Frank Kay succeeds Edgar Shields as President. Brian Maile and Edgar Shields were awarded life memberships of the Club.”

At the AGM we elected all those who were nominated so there are a few changes but I hope to publish more details in the Members section soon.
The Presentations were excellent and means we have a few interesting events to look forward to in the next couple of years and that gives us plenty of time to plan more.
